What is the difference between “satin” and “natural” finish for an acoustic guitar?
I was wondering what is the difference between “satin” and “natural” finish for an acoustic guitar, because I’m buying my 1st guitar but I don’t know what the difference and which one looks the best.
Any descriptions?
I think the term is always ‘natural satin’ – a whole phrase and not either one nor the other.
Doesn’t it just mean that the wood is pale and lacquered?
Don’t forget that it’s more important how the guitar sounds to how it looks! If it’s your first and if you can’t play so well yet, ask the guitar shop assistant to play a few for you and listen closely to how they sound. Good luck!
